Adam Giambrone has spent 20 plus years working in North America, Africa and the Middle East. He has held senior roles on all three regions, providing him with a strong cross-cultural understanding of how to get things done in different cultures and spaces.

He spent 7 years with the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) including 5 years as the Commissioner and Chair of the TTC – North America’s third-largest public transit agency with 14,000 employees. Adam has also managed projects on the ground in Africa, led major transit planning initiatives in New York and worked with the Province of Quebec’s government transportation agency for Montreal. In addition, Giambrone has advised government agencies on five continents regarding infrastructure programs and transformation as well as holding senior government posts. Currently he is a General Manager of Saudi Arabia’s national public transportation company (SAPTCO).

Adam holds a BA (Hons) from McGill University (Canada), an MBA from the University of Toronto (Canada) and an EMBA focused on transportation management from the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland). He speaks English, French and Arabic.

Over 20 years, Adam has overseen multi-billion dollar infrastructure projects and transportation operations, transformed corporate culture in large corporate entities, overseen crisis communications for governments and large companies and undertaken major corporate transformations. He has led major projects , provided expert technical advice on transportation matters to governments, advised ministers and political leaders and overseen corporate operations.

His diverse professional background includes holding elected office in Canada and serving as president of one of Canada’s major parliamentary parties.

These days, when he isn’t working on a project in the Middle East, Adam is in Toronto with his family. His hobbies include swimming and archaeology. He still spends time when he can working at the archaeological site of Dangeil (I Sudan) which is a British Museum project and one Adam has played a role with since 2001.
